Quiro turns study material you upload — lecture slides, PDFs, scans, audio recordings — into exam-style questions and flashcards, and marks your written or spoken answers against that same material. Some of this is done by AI models, either Quiro's own or one you connect yourself. By using Quiro, you agree to these terms.
You need an account to use Quiro. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create one. Give us accurate information — your display name is shown to anyone you share a paper with.
You keep ownership of whatever you upload. You're responsible for having the right to upload it — don't upload material you don't have permission to use, or that infringes someone else's copyright. We don't train any AI model on your materials, ours or anyone else's.
Questions, flashcards, marking verdicts, and feedback are generated or judged by an AI model. They're grounded in your own material by design, but AI can still misread a source, ask an oddly-phrased question, or mark something wrong that should have been right. Quiro is a study aid, not a substitute for your own judgment, your course materials, or a qualified instructor — don't treat a generated verdict as an authoritative grade.
If you connect your own API key or choose a provider other than Quiro's included model, your material and answers are sent to that provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or an endpoint you configure) to generate that content — subject to that provider's own terms, not just ours. Your key is yours to revoke at any time in Settings.
Some functionality (Quiro's own included model, higher storage limits, uncapped paper generation) requires a paid plan. If you subscribe, you authorize recurring charges on that plan's schedule until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't retroactively refund the current period unless required by law. Exact billing mechanics and refund terms will be finalized alongside legal review.
Turning on a paper's share link makes it accessible — including its questions, and your score if you also turn that on — to anyone who has the link, with or without a Quiro account. Turning the link off stops new visitors from joining, but doesn't undo anything a visitor already saw or did while it was on. Only share what you're comfortable making that visible.
Don't use Quiro to upload unlawful content, attempt to access another user's account or materials, abuse the generation or marking systems (e.g. deliberately overloading them), or try to extract other users' data through the sharing feature or otherwise. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or applicable law. On deletion, your materials and generated content are removed per our Privacy Policy.
Quiro is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content.
We may update these terms as Quiro changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
